Greetings all! This has a recent topic but I need much more than has been given so far. Our school offers a SAT prep course in which the English teacher has them read 2-3 novels with "SAT vocabulary". My response has always been to go with the classics but inevitably I get a student that can't find a book to suit them. I would love your input. Please send me ANY suggestions you have, classic or contemporary, of books you would recommend to students needing a novel with SAT vocabulary. I would love to have a list of a hundred books or so to refer to when I get stumped. Thank you all and have a great weekend!
