The answer to my question may be obvious, however, I want to clearly understand for cataloging records purposes. The newer Narnia series books have different book numbers in the series than early editions. I know one may be from the chronilogical order of publication and one may be the order C.S. Lewis wanted them read. But, will someone please explain exactly why this series has different book numbers? And...which order should be in a catalog record for the series?
