Waynesville R-VI School District in Waynesville, Missouri,
has an opening for2005-2006 for a middle school library
media specialist.
Base salary is $31,279 with a fringe benefit package of
$5,184. This position has an extended contract of six
days. A full time library secretary is also assigned to
this
media center, and the district educational media center
staff supports our media specialists with a variety of
services, including central cataloging. The building
enrollment is 710 students with 42 staff. Our
administrators are very supportive of the library program,
and generous budgets are provided for materials and
professional development.
Waynesville R-VI District serves the Waynesville and St.
Robert communities, plus the Fort Leonard Wood military
post which results in a mobile community and unique
student body. The district's total student enrollment is
5,100. Our location is in south-central Missouri off
Interstate 44. We are two hours west of St. Louis
and one hour west of Springfield, MO. We are only 45
minutes southeast of the Lake of the Ozarks. The district
is surrounded by beautiful woods, bluffs, streams, and
wildlife.
