LM_NET Archive

Howdy,

I've been with LM_NET for more than a decade, off an on, and I'm currently
working in digest mode, so please send responses to me personally, thanks.
I will post a HIT of answers if any want this.

I'm a librarian in Kenya. We are a Mac platform school, and I'm having a
lot of trouble finding CDs for research that provide multi-user access. My
school can make purchases from just about anywhere in the world -
primarily US and UK. Any suggestions?

We do have Internet access, and an EBSCO subscription even, but the net is
relatively slow here, and a CD option would be best.

So far I've found an Encyclopedia Britannica 2003 that seems to provide
networking options, and a few other CDs running off OS 9 and earlier
versions (we're almost all OSX now), but that's about it.

Distributors I've checked include:

AVP Educational Software in Britain
Encyclopedia Britannica
Global Software Publishing
Microsoft Encarta (nothing there - as far as I can tell)

Thanks in advance
