I have my kindergartners for 30 min. once a week, and I feel my material is dried up. They have already read the books I'm going to read in their classrooms and my discussions on books are getting ridiculously drawn out to fill time. I travel between school and do not have a budget, so I really have to work with what I'm given. I also feel that my principal looks at me more as "a break for the teachers" than as a librarian. So I was denied seeing Kindergartners 20 min. or every other week. Does anyone have any long lasting lesson plan suggestions?
