I have started an electronic portfolio as part of a class that I took. Currently I have it on my personal website, http://www.oelke.com/people/anne/portfolio/intropage.htm I've thought about adding some artifacts about being proactive about pending legislation (I'm not usually a very political person). I've emailed my state legislators regarding pending bills for school funding and library funding. I've received both email and written letters from them--form letters of course. I've thought about including the text of my email to the legislators and their replies as artifacts. Would I need permission from the individuals to include this in my portfolio? Would I need permission if it were part of an electronic portfolio that was not "public" as my current one is? Anne C. Oelke Library Media Specialist Cambria-Friesland School District Cambria, WI.
