I am looking for information on a video that was shown in the 1980s on
PBS about the Salt Mines in Detroit.

One segment of the video focused on truck parts being transported
through tunnels into the mine, and assembly taking place there.

Folks at PBS have no record of the video, but I'm wondering if it was
part of a presentation on the auto industry in general or the Great
Depression, which really impacted the Detroit area because it was so
dependent on the car companies. I have a vague recollection of a
great documentary shown on PBS about the Detroit area, but I can't
remember its title.

Any leads will be helpful.

TIA!

Connie
