My vote is to do what makes you happiest. I have never been one to go with
the flow. If you want to put it in a unique place - who can say it is wrong?
I love my barcodes on the book pockets - well, I don't actually love them -
they are just convienent.

I'm wondering, since anyplace is going to be a problem for somebody, why
can't I place the barcode over the store barcode?  The kids all try to
scan that anyway.  AND this placement won't cover something important,
front, you get the picture or the title, back you cover the annotation.

I'm right-handed and my current assistant is right-handed so I'm not
saying it because it would be easier for either of us.  And we probably
aren't going to change, since I have 10,000 items the other way.
