In my first message I forgot to mention that I am in a K-8 building. I do have a YA sticker on the book which means that only students in grades 6-8 can check it out. It hasn't officially been challenged yet, but I had an irate parent yelling at the vice principal because there was a book with that title in the school. I have a challenge form and we have a weak challenge policy in place (the school's only a couple years old and hasn't had a challenge yet). Has anyone else dealt with this book being challenged? Based on the language the parent was using, I'm assuming she'll follow through with the challenge.
