Despite my desire to not waste perfectly good items and to not fill up land-fills, getting rid of old A/V lamps is not easy and I may just give in and throw them out. Obviously many of you have the same problem as I received several requests for anything I learn. First, I'm listing the bulbs I have available. Contact me if you could use any of them: BAK (8), CWA (2), DYR (5), ELE (2), ENZ (2) & FML (12). Payment for shipping would be sufficient. Kate Cronn suggested Vantage Lighting. (I found them on the Internet--1-800-445-2677) They will take lamps for a credit toward new ones. Unfortunately, their prices for new ones are quite a bit higher than what I can get them for through our area Co-op. But that may work for some of you. Also suggested: Topbulb (http://www.topbulb.com) used to buy them back for their export market. Don't know if they still do. Another possibility would be to prepare a list that you can email those who are in need and try to do your own matching. -- David Lininger, kb0zke, MS/HS librarian Hickory County R-1 Schools Urbana, MO 65767 417-993-4226 tss003 at tnp.more.net What I did, since I really can't even give them away, I told my staff to go home, theirs and relatives, and write down all the different kinds of bulbs their carousel projectors and whatevers out there needed. Then come back and go through the cabinet to see if they were lucky. (I'd previously moved the ones we needed to maintain to another spot.) Didn't seem like many left, but at least those that did went to good homes. R.
