May 5, 2005 definitely isn't a palindrome
5/5/2005 (normal USofA date) Isn't   552005
5/5/05 (alternate normal USofA date) isn't  5505
5/05/05  is a palindrome:   50505
05/05/05 isn't a palindrome  050505
