We are beginning to plan the technology infrastructure for a new high
school in our district and the question of whether to wire, go totally
wireless, or some combination is being discussed. I don't want to rely
on our district IT department for information on this so I would like to
hear from librarians who are currently using or installing campus-wide
wireless access.
How has your school dealt with security issues?
Have there been increased incidents of hacking?
How is network security handled differently with the wireless access
versus a wired environment.

Thanks,
