I'm working on a book order and have noticed that the covers of young adult novels
seem to be getting racier and more provocative-- lots of cleavage shots from all
sorts of angles. ( these are on books which would mostly appeal to girls anyway)
The covers don't seem to reflect the maturity level of the contents either. Is it
just me or are we heading for putting our novels on the shelf in brown paper bags(
grin) I am just kidding about that so please don't think that I am looking for a
censorship discussion. I kinda wondered what parents would think when they saw some
of these covers.
