The elementary school librarians and the other middle school
librarian in my district are having a semi-annual meeting next week. (We
used to meet monthly and then last year we were cut back to quarterly. This
year we are required instead to go to grade level collaboration meetings and
will only meet twice during the school year.) The person who is creating
the agenda called me and asked if could bring the "five best web sites for
elementary teachers" to the meeting. She said that I always forwarded such
great stuff to them normally but she wondered what the "best" sites were. I
asked her if they should be for science, reading, math or what and she said
that she would leave it up to me. [I normally forward items from this list
that I think might be of use to our elementary librarians and items that I
find in e-newsletters that I subscribe to as well.] So, since I work with
middle school teachers and my collection of bookmarks is primarily for them,
I am turning to you for help! What web sites could you not live without?
What is a favorite web site of your teachers? I promise to post a hit of
everyone's favorites. TIA
