What about the personality image more than the physical one? I watched
The Rosa Parks Story last night and cringed at the librarian who would
not allow the black children to check out books in the "whites only"
library. I know she was portraying the shameful history but how many
people still think of us as the "book nazi's" who never smile?
I have had many people tell me I don't "look like a librarian" or that
"I'm too nice to be a librarian" grrrr.

Maybe we should all post our most attractive pictures on a website.
How
about creating posters about reading with the most attractive
librarian
we can find and mass producing them?
