[LM_NET] Target -Help: Digital Storytelling via Windows XP Movie Maker

Has anyone used Movie Maker to create digital stories?   I was doing ok until I 
tried to render(save) the video before I added the music.  When I try to impot the 
Video in order to put in the music, I do the following:
1. Open Movie Maker 2
2. File>New Project
3. Select "Import Video"
4. Locate the video from the folder after rendering (saving).
5. Click the Import button
        This is now the problem.
The video is suposed to look like a black (?) square. then, when I drage the video 
to the storyboard and click on "Show Timeline", the video is only 10 seconds long 
instead of the 2 minutes it's supposed to be.  What do I do?  What did I do wrong?
