Does anyone know if audiobooks purchased from sources such as Audible.com may be shared with another person? My guess is that they cannot, but none of the media specialists in my district is completely sure. Are any of you providing checkouts of downloaded audiobooks in your libraries? If so, what vendor(s) are you using for this? We have checked into one service, but their collection contained mostly classics and very few popular new titles. It was also cost prohibitive. It seems to me that when we purchase hard copies of books for our libraries, multiple circulations are permitted, so it would be nice if digital audiobooks were available for multiple checkouts at a comparable price. Thank you for your help. I will post a hit if anyone else is interested.
