[LM_NET] National Survey of High School Studcent Involvement

I am interested in redcommending to my administrators that we seriously 
consider using the Mational Survey of High School Student Involvement.  Have 
any of you had experience with this.

I have just read an article in the November C&RL News concerning their 
efforts to have information literacy items placed on the survey instrument.  
Is AASL doing similar work on the high school instrument
