Thanks to everyone for their timely responses.

 

Actually, the "about" link on her home page is short on biographical
information and long on her commercial activities.

 

Two librarians were able to send me the biographical data from the Gale
Biography Resource Center.  The student was very happy to get it, and in
such a timely manner.  We offer a big thank you.

 

The google searches which excluded .com sites were still too many.  The
ones we checked continued to be more about her commercial ventures.

 

The Gale Biography looks like a great resource.
