Hi, Everyone! I am a first year high school library media specialist and I need some advice. My school doesn't pay for any electronic databases and I think we need at least one. We presently have a free trial for World Book Online Reference Center. I am thinking that the minimum yearly cost of $770 is a pretty good deal. The Platinum Plus is $1500 and the plain platinum is somewhere in the middle. I would love feedback from those of you who have World Book Online Reference Center. Do you think it is a valuable resource and do your students and teachers like it? Also, does anyone have another electronic database that they would recommend for high school? Thank you, Nanci Dreybus, Library Media Specialist Smithfield High School Smithfield, Virginia ndreybus@iwcs.k12.va.us -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
