Like Doug I use a remote for power point presentations as well. I'm
not familiar with the brand Doug recommends -- but in checking I find
that the Keyspan model Doug mentions costs $59.00 -- a good bargain.

I searched for a time to find one that was small enough for my hand
and which could be virtually concealed in my palm or in my pocket.
The best "presentation module" I have found is small for a pocket.
-- The module has a wireless remote and an internal storage section
for the receiver that when in use is placed in a USB port on a PC or
Mac. Kensington Wireless Presentation Remote 33132 Best Buy's
price $62.99

It has a range of 50 + feet (I've been at least 80 ft and it has
worked nicely. The module includes a laser pointer and the ability
to move forward or backward AND to blank the screen if you wish. No
software required -- it is definitely plug and play.

You can order from www.kensington.com or I purchased mine (under
$75.00) from Mac connection 800-800-1111.
