We actually had this question as an ice breaker activity at one of our
district's recent Librarians' Kick-off meetings. I would probably do one of
two things -- either I would be working as a DJ at a jazz or world music
station, or running a cute little boutique/gift shop/tourist trap in a cool
little town like LaConner, WA.

But I love what I do so why would I do something else.

Subject: [LM_NET] What do you want to be?

Good morning Netters,

I hope each one of ya'll had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I know I did ;)
One of my friends has quit his job in search of "himself". This sounds
crazy to me, for I can clearly see him and wonder what is this all about.
He asked me "If you did not teach, what would you do"? Well, brain surgeon
or psychiatrist (calling Dr. Nutt, hahaha) seems out of the question, but it
got me to think (something we shouldn't have to do until Monday!)what would
I do if I couldn't be in education. So, since we are all reasonably
intelligent people, what would you do instead of being in the media field?
Just curious....
