If I could be anything I think I would like to be a person who searches for used books. I love rooting around at flea markets, book stores, garage sales, and places like Goodwill. If someone would pay all my expenses to travel and hunt for books I would be so happy. I already do it for myself, but I do have to watch how much money I spend and I can't travel far, what with work. I also have to remember that I don't have all that much room and right now most of my cook book collection is in storage (around 800 volumes). Though when I do travel I visit used book stores -- came home one year from California with 99 books. In three years I'll retire and I need to start to find a new career, at the time I can retire I'll have 37 years in education. I'm ready to move to something else. I was thinking about becoming a tour bus driver -- I drove school bus for 5 years (not a route, but for the sports teams and field trips for a private high school) so I know that it is something that I could at least try. I also have an interest in dog grooming, photography, paper making, crafts, scrap booking, weaving, collecting, cake decorating, baking, rubber stamping, travel. Too many interests and I'm always trying new things.
