[LM_NET] TARGET: Age to introduce computers as teaching tools

The IT committee at my school has charged me with gathering information and 
research data regarding the developmentally and educationally best age at 
which to introduce computers as teaching tools.  I have read Jane Healy’s 
Failure to Connect, the Fall/Winter 2000 issue of The Future of Children, 
The Alliance for Childhood’s “Fool’s Gold,” and a number of articles.  Now, 
I would like to know what some other schools are doing both in policy and 
practice.  Please reply to me as soon as possible because we will be making 
some important decisions later this month.
