I will be waiting for what you hear from Answers.com. I think their
heart is in the right place - and they are certainly addressing a real
need. I would just feel more comfortable if they depended less heavily
on Wikipedia . Even though I am feeling more positive about Wikipedia
lately, I still worry about the kids accepting everything they see there
blindly... I do my part to educate them. But they are SO naive about
info on the web..... Still, social computing is a phenom that we can't
stop - so our best hope is to constantly challenge our students to
question everything they see, and equip them with the tools they need to
navigate safely, ethically and critically around hidden information
"icebergs.

While I'm waiting for a response, I'm still experimenting on the
Answers.com website.
But here's a discovery.....one of the "valid resources" that Answers.com
uses to create their "valid resource information" is...Wikipedia.
I think we're going in circles here.....it this bad information
perpetuating bad information? (EPIC 2014???) <grin>
