I've put some comments up on my blog <http://www.beiffert.net/wordpress/research-literacy/answerscom/> . As Answers basically polls a specific set of resources, its biggest advantage is in bypassing much of the piffle that inevitably winds up in a general search engine’s results. However, a webpage of resources with brief explanations and hints to help students making choices could provide a better service in terms of quality of answer, matching student capabilities, and giving our students a better understanding of the range of resources available.
