Help! Our Global Awareness teacher wants students to have a novel that deals with controversial issues, political issues or something that incited deep social change. He wants the students to look for hidden social agendas, biases, purpose/place in historical account etc. (The books he initially is thinking of is CATCH 22; 1984; ANIMAL FARM, CATCHER IN THE RYE, ON THE ROAD, BRAVE NEW WORLD, CATCHER IN THE RYE, ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST , RUMOR OF WAR, Vonnegut's books Any other ideas you may have would be greatly appreciated.
