        Peter has given me permission to tell you about a new book that
will be useful to elementary and middle school teachers and librarians.
        It's the 2nd paperback guide from the National Storytelling Network,
  just published this month, called "Telling Stories to Children."
        26 tellers give advice on telling at home, in schools and libraries,
& on stage. 112 pages. It's not available from amazon or other 
distributors,
but you can order it from the publisher, NSN, for $12.00 plus shipping:

        It doesn't list LC cataloging. You might put it in the professional
collection at 808.5'43, 372.64'2 or 027.62. The Sears subject heading 
is:
STORYTELLING.

At the home page,  look *just* below the Headlines list and click on the

Click on 30% off sale.

you'll
get a brief description and be able to order.
