Greetings all:

Thanks to all who shared the solution to the Word 2003 text
box solution. We were battling the same problem. Here is
another Word 2003 problem that several of us are having, but
I cannot find a solution.

In past Word versions, you could copy and paste (or
generate) a URL in a Word document and it would
automatically become an active hyperlink. However, in Word
2003, the URL becomes the (default) blue and underlined like
an active hyperlink, but it is **not** active. When you
move your cursor over the URL, the cursor does not turn into
the "pointed hand" cursor.

I've searched the Microsoft knowledge base and already tried
the process they recommend:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HP051896351033.aspx

This process does not make a URL a hyperlink.

Anyone have a solution?

TIA!
