When I was in high school, many years ago, one of the history teachers
also served as Camera Club sponsor. One day he wanted to show a movie,
and the projector wouldn't work. A student was dispatched to the library
to get the A-V tech. That wise man came in, plugged the projector into
the outlet, and left without saying a word.

That same teacher once took the camera club on a tour of the Nebraska
State Capitol, a tour that included going beyond the area that is
normally open to the public. In order to get to the very top we had to
walk on some sections of structural glass. The teacher, who resembled
Ted Kennedy in body build, walked on his tiptoes on the glass in order
to avoid putting his whole weight on the glass!

Haven't thought of that teacher, now long dead, for many years. Thanks
for reminding me.
