My American English teacher and I are working on a grant proposal and need a list of good American poetry books. We're steering away from general anthologies and would like to find poet-specific or topic-specific titles. Are there any that you really like or can't live without? What do your poetry lovers like to check out (excepting Shel Silverstein)? Thanks in advance!
