[LM_NET] Middle & Sec: Rey Mysterio and Teen Read Week

Any YALSA member who registered to participate in Teen Read Week by
September 15th will receive a packet next week containing 50 free Rey
Mysterio posters.  Please give these out to any tween or teen who shows
you their library card or who signs up for one during Teen Read Week. 
Posters are compliments of WWE.
 
In honor of our Teen Read Week celebrity spokesperson, Smackdown
Superstar Rey Mysterio, YALSA has developed a list of recommended books
and DVDs relating to wrestling.  This list can be accessed from our Teen
Read Week homepage at www.ala.org/teenread.  If you're still looking for
ways to celebrate the event in your library, why not center it around
wrestling?  You could host a film screening of Beyond the Mat or
Lipstick and Dynamite.  Another idea is to invite the wrestling coach
from your local school to demonstrate some wrestling moves and talk
about the skills needed to wrestle.  Please feel free to share the list
of recommended books and DVDs with your teens, and/or design a display
with them.
