A teacher asked the other day about the copyright ramification of converting videos to computer files. She has some videos which she purchased for use in her English classroom. She never shows the entire video, only clips from several. She asked if it would be OK to convert these "clips" to computer files. It would save her time trying to locate the segments play, fast-forward, rewind, etc. The clips would be ready for each class. Would the answer be different if they were checked out from the school library? What do you think? Thanks in advance.
