Hello, Netters, :) I'm in need of Strasser's The Wave on video. The social studies department of my new school shows The Wave every year and they have been using a recording of a broadcast. (We have a number of broadcast recordings in our collection, but no permissions from copyright holders that I can find -- that's a separate issue.) So I'm trying to find a legal, commercial copy and coming up dry. The social studies teachers think they've seen a copy available in a catalog, but can't remember which one. I've tried Amazon, some of my standard video vendors (Library Video, Teacher's Video) and have signed up for Follett's Tableware but haven't had that registration approved yet. If anyone knows of a source, I'll be very glad to hear about it. Thanks, :) Julie Julie Olson, Librarian Eatonville High School Eatonville, WA julie_olson@eatonville.wednet.edu Life is not tried, it is merely survived, if you're standing outside the fire. -- Jenny Yates and Garth Brooks. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
