Print resources available from the Curriculum Corporation include ...
The 'Really Big Beliefs Book' looks at beliefs and religions from
Buddhist to Hindu, Judaic to Catholicism, and is aimed at years 5/6. The
book also links up to the Asia education website for ideas and teacher
support - www.asiaeducation.edu.au/bigbeliefs. For ordering information
click on http://www.curriculum.edu.au/catalogue/product.php?cat_id=1356.

Also, the 'Come to the Party' series provide information, aimed at
younger children, on different cultures and festivals:
Indian Hindu Festivals -

Malay Muslim Festivals -
http://www.curriculum.edu.au/catalogue/product.php?cat_id=815
and Chinese Festivals -

The books are simple yet effective, and information is presented in a
fun and interesting way, with most of the book in story format.

One of the 'Recipes for Success in Literacy' books, 'Values & Days of
Recognition' will also appeal to your teachers. This book provides
students with an understanding of the values we share in a multicultural
society. See
