We are planning a family reading night for the Monday after Thanksgiving.
Our theme will be A Feast of Books. We will be collecting canned goods for
the local food pantry. We would like to have different centers/rooms with
activities for various genre.
Parents and students will earn tickets to enter drawings throughout the
evening.
I'm looking for ideas for activities we could tie to specific genre or the
feast of books theme.
Maybe we should have "food" books?
I'm planning to create some sort of scavenger hunt in the library where they
will have to use the opac and our online databases to find answers.
I will appreciate any suggestions for activities or scavenger hunt
questions.
Thanks,
