This thread reminds me of when I drove Paula Danzinger around during
a three day visit to my old school district. We had a great deal of fun
and she was intrigued by several things in our very small city. We
passed several drive-thrus that sell pop, snacks, beer and wine. She
was shocked that you could buy beer and wine from a car. (Pretty scary
when you think about it.) One of the drive-thrus was a combination
drive-thru and car wash. That really caught Paula's attention and she
suggested that we stop and get my car washed. When I said I had just
washed my car before her visit, Paula offered to pay to wash it again.
I did pay and ended up with a very clean car.
