In the class I teach for SUNY Plattsburgh for
undergrads, access points are the terms that are
entered as search terms:  Author, title, subject
headings, keywords, etc. In terms of cataloging, it
would be the fields that users can use as searches.

Does that sound right for AACR?  I haven't looked at
them lately ;-D!
