My sister-in-law is the special ed coordinator for Plaquemines Parish School System
in Louisiana -- in some places, 95% of the housing is gone. Nonetheless, 3 of 9
schools are opening tomorrow for the kids who have come back. She asked for
donations of books for bibliotherapy purposes for K-8, @ ten copies for each title.
I want happy to help her, but I would love to have a list of titles (not just
flood and hurricane, but any sorrowful catastrophe, new situation, loss, etc.) that
you have found useful. I know this is off topic, and you can email me directly
with information or ideas.
