Dear LM-Net members, We are in the initial planning stages in implementing a Literacy Across the Curriculum initiative that is part of the High Schools That Work program established by the Southern Regional Education Board. We are just in planning stages right now, our committee will be attending a workshop on Wednesday and I have read their handbook. I would LOVE to hear from HIGH SCHOOL library media specialists who are participating in this program in their schools. Please tell me about successes and also problems you have encountered as you were getting started and as the program was implemented. That is what is so good about this listserv....we don't have to "reinvent the wheel"...we have other professionals who can share pitfalls and successes. :-) I will post a HIT. Thanks in Advance! Pat :-) Pat W. Turner, Ed.S.
