Hi. Here are the responses I received to my question below:

* I like the Know It All series of tapes done by ALA. There are 13
tapes in the series.

* Research it! Madam know-it-all in the media center.

* I purchased 3 of the six videos produced by Schlessinger Media/
Library
Video Company, titled Research Skills for Students. The three I have
are Avoiding Plagiarism, Searching the Internet, and Evaluating
Sources. I think they are very worthwhile but you should know that the
students are high school age.

Subject: TARGET: Movies or Videos that Teach Research or Library Skills

Hi. I just ran into one of our science teachers at the public library.
She was checking out "Super size Me" as part of a unit on nutrition for
her students.

I got to wondering if there might be such an engaging movie or video out
there that would teach research and/or library skills to middle school
students. Any suggestions?
