What other ideas are out there? I'll post a hit and next year we can just search

SEC: but can be used in other grade levels.
We have over 100 employees at our school. I asked EVERY employee to come to the
media center with (or to find) their favorite book...have their picture taken with
the book covering their face and to give me a two or three line email as to why it
was their favorite. I had 22 pictures (including mine) one assistant principal,
one aide (the media center aide) and the rest were teachers. I made a poster for
the courtyard and it was also on Power Point on one of the computers in the LMC.
The students had to match the favorite book and reason to the name of the people.
I had about 100 kids (out of over 1400) and 8 teachers play. The winning student
got a $20.00 gift certificate to a bookstore...the winning teacher got a Yummy
Pampered Chef dessert (made by me).
My partner also did a display of Halloween books as his Teen Read Week display.
