[LM_NET] answer to book title needed

someone recently asked about a book:   a prince wants the most noise on his 
birthday, but when the day comes, no one makes a sound...

I actually found this book in my library last week!    published in 1954, it is
The Loudest Noise in the World by Benjamin Elkins, illustrated by James Daugherty.
