I have had such a great response to my query on behalf of my students for
Palmerston Schools around
the globe, but I find it amazing that there does not seem to be a Palmerston
School anywhere in the
US. All I have is a Palmerton School.

Some have suggested that this is because the US and England had severed their
relationships before
the time of one Lord Palmerston who still had influence in India and Canada (hence
the three
different schools in Ontario) but as my school is named after the early settlers of
the district, I
would have assumed that there would be other schools with other origins other than
being named after
this Lord bloke. Perhaps I am wrong.

But if you know of a Palmerston School (elementary, middle, high, doesn't matter)
in the US
somewhere, could you please let me know where it is and any contact details you
might have. My
students would be thrilled.
