[LM_NET] OT: Dallas & Farmer's Branch districts

We are trying to find a school in either Dallas or Farmer's Branch for a 6th grade 
girl from New Orleans whose mother's company has already relocated her to the 
Dallas area.  They will be living in corporate housing, and have already received 
clothing, etc from friends in Dallas, so are doing well there.  But  looking for a 
school is a bit daunting at this point as they have no car.  She has attended a 
smaller magnet school in New Orleans, and her mom is afraid of placing her into a 
large 6-8 middle school situation.  If you could offer advice on schools in these 
areas, please contact me off list.  With the news being so grim, it feels good to 
try to help even one family.
