[LM_NET] GEN: Katrina Fund raising

Don't know if this is at all doable;

With AASL conference coming up soon, perhaps by early October the situation
will be a little clearer in terms of what is needed to help the schools
affected.

Could we do some kind of fund raising among those at AASL? Perhaps a
donation "stand"? I remember that in Birmingham where they had IASL also
attending they had a silent auction, with people bringing items to donate
to the auction.

I KNOW this would be difficult to set up at this point, but I wonder if we
couldn't set up something for attendees sponsored by LM_NET? I would gladly
take a turn manning something.
