Dear LM_NET members,

I thought this unique professional development opportunity

Visions of Learning virtual conference hosted by the Australian School
Library Association is open for registration.

This online conference aims to bring together a range of educators from
around the globe to provide opportunities to explore and discuss
changing approaches to education delivery in regard to evolving
technologies, information services and current educational research.
The conference allows participants to explore learning and knowledge
construction so that our vision of learning can be enabled.

Themes/strands include - Powerful Purpose (examines the who, what and
why of teaching and how this effects delivery) - Powerful Pedagogy
(examines different models of teaching and learning and how they can be
applied) - Powerful Practice (examines what happens when good teaching
and learning takes place) - Powerful Performance (examines learning
processes, information delivery and assessment methods and their impact
on student achievement).

Registration is available now. You can register online or by
downloading and completing the registration form at

Register now so you can gain access to:
- the range of papers from presenters representing Australia, Canada,
Hong Kong, Italy, New Zealand and United States of America.
- the e-forums for stimulating discussion, commencing 1 May with an
Introduction Forum and followed by e-forums over a two week period for
each strand/theme.
- a CD-ROM version of the conference proceedings.
