Good Morning LM_NET'ers!
Our library has recently received a Interlibrry Loan Development
Program grant from the state of Kansas to procure and share materials
associated with the '6 Trait' model of composition instruction.
We found that library staff, student teachers, and teachers involved in
6 Trait work were collaborating together in our library. The
discussions and searches have been focused on finding, reviewing and
using 6 Trait materials.
I wanted to open this inquiry to others as well (especially our
distance learners), so I created a '6 Traits Space' blog. It's
a 'faculty lounge', a 'library table' and a gathering place for
teachers, librarians and anyone working with 6 Traits instruction and
assessment.
It provides bibliographies of various 6 Trait resources, reviews of
resources, unique lesson ideas and/or experience, questions and
answers, etc.
Please feel free to chime in on the blog and invite other teachers as
well. (It is open to everyone on the internet.) I hope to see you there!
