To celebrate my 40th birthday in the fall, I'm treating myself to a trip to England
in July. I'll be on a 10 day British Isles cruise and will spend 3 days in London
prior. The hard part? Figuring out what I can and should squeeze in to see in
London during those three days.

If you've been to London before, here's a scenario I wanted to pose... You have
three days in London, what would be the "have to see" sites? Be realistic...how
many I will actually be able to see and do within that time frame.

I am currently going through some current books & literature and making a
list...but it has quickly become obvious there is no way to do all I would like to
do. Some of the things high on my list to see: Priority #1 is to take an
excursion to see Stonehenge, then in no particular order: the London Eye, Harods,
British Museum, British Library, Tower of London, the subway where there is the
"real" Harry Potter platform, changing of the guard at B'ham Palace, etc.

I would also like to work it in to go to some really good book stores while there
too. If anyone has a suggestion, I would appreciate hearing about it as well.

Best wishes,
