Exactly when is TV Turn off Week? Lori Feldstein-Gardner School Library Teacher The Hewitt School New York, NY lfeldstein@hewittschool.org ________________________________ From: School Library Media & Network Communications on behalf of DMickelson Sent: Thu 4/6/2006 11:42 AM To: LM_NET@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU Subject: Tar: TV turnoff week idea I am just planning activities for TV turn off week. Two of the ideas that I am working with need a little help. One is book review by students. How do you avoid the 'blah' factor? What kinds of questions should they answer so it is not just this book was really funny etc.? The other idea is a door decorating contest where students have a slogan and portray something that people can do other than watch TV. Can you think of any other guidelines?
